Why pure water?
Marina water leaves more than water behind.
When ordinary tap water dries, dissolved minerals stay on paint, glass and stainless steel. VelaPure strips those minerals out before the final rinse, so the water evaporates cleanly.
Protect your yacht’s water systems
One water source. Protection throughout the yacht.
VelaPure can fill the yacht’s freshwater tank or connect directly to its shore-water inlet. Tank filling sends low-mineral water through the freshwater pump and the complete onboard system. A direct connection supplies the freshwater circuit without using the tank and may bypass the pump, depending on the yacht. In both setups, fewer minerals means less limescale throughout the equipment that uses water.

What does the machine connect to?+
The mobile unit uses the marina’s ordinary dockside water supply. We confirm access and setup details when you book.
Can I use it with a pressure washer?+
Usually, yes, provided the pressure washer’s flow requirements suit the system. Tell us your setup and we will confirm compatibility.
Do I really not need to dry the boat?+
A correct final rinse with pure water is designed to air-dry without the mineral marks left by normal marina water.
Can the water be used for drinking?+
Yes — when supplied as part of our potable freshwater tank-fill service. We confirm the correct setup and hygiene requirements before filling; exterior machine hire alone does not include tank filling.
